About Me

Hi, I’m AshLeigh - a New York based photographer who began my journey as a frequent concert go-er and sports fan. In college, I traveled with my Cheerleading team to cheer on our DI Basketball team which brought us to many cities and even London. After graduating, I took a shot (pun intended) at shooting their media day. Immediately, I fell in love with capturing that energy with a camera.

I completed a sports media internship which allowed me to experiment with videography and photography. Soon after, I began shooting New York City Football Club games at Yankee Stadium and Citifield. I am currently a contributing photographer for FutZoneCentral.

With my friends, Chasity Vazquez, Esme Navarro, and Nicole Solicito, we created She Shoots Media, a media outlet for women in sports. We collaborate with female photographers, journalists, content creators, etc. to highlight their work in a male-dominated field.

I also leaned into concert photography once I got to know my equipment better. I’ve always loved going to live shows, so what’s better than being in the photo pit capturing those special moments firsthand? I currently contribute to Not On Stage, an online music publication where I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a range of artists and refine my ability to work in fast-paced, low-light environments.

From stadiums to stages, I strive to capture moments that resonate beyond the frame. I’m excited to keep evolving and creating work that connects people to the energy of the moment.
